I had a revelation today.
My two closest friends are Republican. And I’m dating a Libertarian. And I’m the most bleeding-heart liberal you will meet in southwest Michigan.

I am sooo close to this job and my boss seems convinced that I’m going to get it. But I really don’t want to get my hopes up. Getting this job would mean way too many awesome things.

Which will give me a grand total of 3.5 hours of sleep before I have to get up for work. And a nap tomorrow is out of the question because, naturally, I won’t have time for one.

I wish I was a celebrity so that I could go to...
100% for my participation grade in last night’s class. Might not seem that exciting, but for a seminar class where participation is 50% of your total grade, that is fucking awesome.

As many of you know, I’ve been working to lose weight/gain muscle for the past four months. I’ve chronicled my progress on the fitspo blog at the above link, for anyone who is interested.

While I will never celebrate the death of anyone, it is clearly his time. He is 85 years old and has cancer. And, through no fault but his own, went through unbelievable stress these past few months that no doubt caused immense damage to his body.
The death of a child is heartbreaking. This, is not.
I have the coolest boss ever.
And if I get this promotion, I am buying her drinks for life.
