My Fifty-Two poster arrived yesterday! I don’t have any correct frame sizes for it yet, so this is its temporary home till I get to Hobby Lobby.
For anyone who doesn’t know, Fifty-Two is a documentary from my friend Adam about life as a non-profit on the Vans Warped Tour. He’s that annoying guy that always has a camera in his hand, but in the case of this film, it definitely paid off.
His charity, 11:11 AM, works together with the Dear Jack Foundation to raise awareness for pediatric cancer research and has been on the tour for the past five years. I was fortunate enough to spend the summer representing them in 2008 on the tour and it was an experience I wouldn’t trade for the world.
I realize I give Adam a lot of shit on Tumblr for, well, everything but there’s a reason he’s one of my best friends. This guy works harder than anyone I know to make things happen for himself. He builds things from the ground up and as soon as it’s successful, he adds something else to his plate, from publishing books to designing t-shirts to making films. I urge you all to check out the trailer for Fifty-Two and considering purchasing a poster yourself to help fund the project.
This will be my 3 year in a row going to Vans Warped Tour. One of my favorite things about the tour is all the great...
