buying single ladies from iTunes to show respect. no, this is not a sarcasm post. what she did was the nicest and classiest thing possible and I applaud her overwhelming kindness.

I love how she didn’t take like ANY time to be in the spotlight, she just right away told Taylor to get on stage and have her moment.

she knew that that was a huge moment for taylor, and that was the most perfect thing she could have done.

Huge moment? It’s the VMA’s put on by MTV. A network that got rid of the only show that had snippets of music videos “TRL”. I hope to God, for her sake, that it wasn’t a big moment and just a joke she can tell her friends.

That’s a really dumb thing to say.

She is a teenage girl that writes music for other teenage girls for a living. Winning her first VMA is a HUGE thing for her. Just because it’s not something that you take seriously doesn’t mean that no one else should.

I bet many of your proudest moments in life seem fairly trivial to the general population, but that doesn’t make them any less important.
